The Birch Creek Tribal Council’s mission is to promote the well-being and unity of the current and succeeding generations, to affirm our faith in fundamental Native rights and traditions, and to promote our Tribe’s social, cultural, economic, and political progress.
The council’s main priorities are protecting and advancing our people, homeland, and way of life. We do so by serving the Denduu Gwich’in tribal members, preserving our rich cultural heritage, and ensuring the survival of the community through a variety of programs and services.
